These Hydrangeas came from my Aunt's yard in Oregon, planted there by her from cuttings from my grandma's plants in Santa Barbara.

In my Aunt's yard in Oregon, they come out naturally blue, in my yard, naturally more pink, but I enrich to the bluer side and love this blue-purple combo.

Weird Weather Combo's

I don't ever remember the lavender and the Quince being in bloom at the same time before! It's been a long spring.

Lush, everything

This is the other time of the year that the garden is particularly lush, especially this year when the dog days of August only made it into the 90's...

The tomatoes are winding down and although there were lots, they never ended up super good this year. Fortunately, my neighbor Roy had some from his garden that he shared, they were amazing! Now I'm more persuaded it's time for a food swap.
